2012 COMMISSION/ORDERS INFORMATION for Deadly Sweet
AVAILABILITY:Commission slots will be open on a monthly basis (at the end of every month). 2-4 slots will open at a time and will be available on a first come first serve basis. I will not make exceptions this year because I need to create inventory for my Etsy store, 2012 conventions and galleries.
PLUSH OPTIONS:Please see photo below for size reference:
[link]· Plush (full-size human) *this is the one you see most in my gallery* 10.5-11": base price is $70
· Plush (chibi) measures 7-7.5"": base price is $45
· Keychain/Charm $ 11-15
*All prices do NOT include shipping*
PAYMENT:All payments are to be made through Paypal in Canadian currency.
Payments are due upfront and in full, there will be a 50% non-refundable on all orders if you choose to cancel your order. An Etsy listing can be set up for your transaction, although Etsy fees (3.5% + $0.20) will be added to your invoice. Paypal fees will also be added to your invoice (2.9% + $0.30) by default.
SHIPPING:There are several options for shipping your commission.
I typically send them via airmail ($10-15) No tracking and takes around 2-3 weeks.
There are also options with insurance and tracking (25$+) (which I would recommend with larger orders).
Once a plush is sent, it is no longer my responsibility, so please choose your shipping options wisely! I have sent over 300 parcels and have not had a single lost parcel, a handful were late but never lost.
TERMS & CONDITIONS:I do reserve the right to decline requests of anyone at my own discretion.
I can cancel a commission at any time. I work a full time job and this is simply a side-project for me, if I need to cancel someone's commission, I will fully refund your payment.
I reserve the right to publish your commission, either in a magazine/portfolio or websites. I also reserve the right to duplicate your commission for sale unless the character is legally copyrighted to you.
FAQ:Q Do you sell your patterns?
A Any note/comment with this subject matter rarely gets a response. I do NOT sell my patterns, most artists don't and requesting something of this nature is just unprofessional and rude. There are plenty of artists on here that offer their patterns, just type 'pattern' or 'tutorial' in the Deviant Art search engine and look in the Artisan Crafts section.
Q What fabrics/materials do you use?
A My eyes are from 6060 on Etsy. I use fleece and felt for my plushies which I purchase at my local fabric store or Michaels.
Q- Do you sew by machine or hand?
A All by hand. I purchased a sewing machine and its sitting on my desk.
TRADESI no longer accept trades. I've always finished my end of the deal only to have people not finish their ends of things.
I've been screwed over 6 times out of 10; either I've sent things and haven't gotten anything, I've received counterfeit goods (totally illegal BTW) or have had people not take action for months. I really liked doing them, but it's been less than pleasant due to those who stood me up or screwed me over. So please don't take it personally.

Instead of looking into the past and judging on what they did wrong, why don't we look at now and do the same?-me

They can hit you if you keep moving.
But as far as trading, no more. I've lost so much time and money over it with very little benefit.
If you were to design something, I'd need a front and back view. But usually I like to take my own spin on designs or else I'm just copying someone else's style and it's not very natural for me.
