After another blatant copy of my work (which has been sold in stores, conventions, etc under my name) - I'm leaving DeviantArt for the time being. All my deviations have been stored or deleted.

I simply cannot support such an incestuous and juvenile community while trying to maintain a strong brand and respectable image. This isn't a problem in regards to 'my art being on the internet'; I have been very active with MANY other social networks and DeviantArt never fails me with copycats who believe they have the rights to do so.

You can thank those copycats (like these: [link] )for my decision. No one can succeed from copying someone else's work while trying to reap the benefits of someone else's creativity.

I'll be keeping my account open because I do love several artists on here and I wish you artists the best.

*UPDATE*
Alright, so I've reported the person through Etsy, DA and eBay for the violations.
They responded saying something like "I made copies of your work, but I was too lazy to upload pictures, so I took yours"

Because of this user I've removed nearly 300 DEVIATIONS and WATERMARKED them all. I've never had to personally do this on my account, but you can thank the user for that.


I've gotten a couple e-mails and a few convos on Etsy about an eBay auction selling one of my plushes. The odd thing is... I never sold the item. Therefore the eBay seller is using all my photos and my description offering a 'made to order' product (basically an illegal copy of my work)

This pattern is my standard pattern for a 9" chibi human doll - this one is specifically for David Tennant/Castiel but anyone with sewing experience could adapt it to other characters.
